Below is an interview by Leo Laporte with Kiki Stockhammer and Phillip Nelson. In it Philip and Kiki (but mostly Kiki) talk about Kiki’s promotional work on Video Toaster for the Amiga and how she came to work with NewTek–the inventors of the famous software. They also talk about their latest efforts with the company which has a broadened vision in the television and film industry. At one point, the interview takes a turn and talks about Kiki’s involvement with the Star Trek-influenced band: Warp 11. There are some clips from their latest album! To be perfectly honest, the main reason I’m posting this is that Kiki is F-ing hot. ![]()

You should send her an email. Maybe she’ll go out with you.
Already did! I’m sure she will… I’m hard to resist
True.
Fun interview. Warp 11 is way better than better than Warp 9–another ST-inspired band that is a little more vulgar.
Holy crap! Here is a YouTube video c. 1990-1991 for the NewTek Video Toaster featuring Kiki and the voice of Ken Nordine! Cool!
Aaaaand… baseball wipe.
Oh yeah….
I remember the Amiga store in Highland Park. I’d go as a wee lad and listen to one employee’s constant spiel on how awesome Amiga was. But then he would also admit it gurus out on a consistent basis.
That store ain’t around no more.
